Mission Statement

The Skin Vet dermatology service aims to provide an excellent support service to vets referring challenging cases through excellent communication and expert advice. Knowledge is kept up to date by reading and attending relevant conferences. Clients referred to the service will be treated in a professional and polite manner.

The Skin Vet is the new title for Anthony Chadwick’s dermatology referral service. A qualified vet for 18 years, Anthony passed the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology in 1995. Clinics were set up in several locations in N England and Wales. However, in 1997 he opened his own first opinion practice in West Derby. This led him to reduce his peripatetic work.

Anthony is a member of The European Society for Veterinary Dermatology, The American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology, The British Veterinary Dermatology Study Group, The British Small Animal Veterinary Association, Society for Practising Veterinary Surgeons and, of course, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Anthony has spoken nationally and internationally on dermatology and is well-known for providing musical entertainment at BSAVA congress each year as part of the ‘Dodgy Folk’ band.

Clinics are currently held in Liverpool every Monday and Tuesday l; once a month in Manchester and weekly in Leeds. He is also happy to visit practices for in-house CPD.
